Our product line consists of three of the most common stainless steel alloys used today.
They are Type 304, Type 316, and Type 430. Here is a brief description of each along with some common applications.
We carry these alloys in a wide range of thicknesses and finishes and we can provide material to you in industry standard or custom sizes depending on your specific needs.
The thicknesses that we have readily available are:
The most widely utilized alloy of the stainless steel family classified as an austenitic alloy. Non-magnetic. Also available with low carbon (LC) as well as draw quality (DDQ and EDDQ). Common uses include:
– Food and beverage production
– Medical Equipment
– Commercial Kitchens
– Brewers/Vintners
– Air Conditioning
– Tank Fabrication
– Automotive
Used in applications when a higher level of corrosion resistance is desired or required such as:
– Chemical/Chemistry
– Pulp and Paper Production
– Marine Applications
Less corrosion resistant than the 300 series but has favorable heat properties. Many common uses include:
– Automobile and truck trim
– Barbeques and Kitchen Equipment
– Tubing
– Architectural/Decorative
– Door Hardware

Finishes Available – Dependent on Alloy and Thickness
Hot Rolled – Annealed and descaled
- 2D – A dull, cold rolled finish. Common on draw quality material.
- 2B – A brighter cold rolled finish. Most common and is more readily polished than 2D or HR.
- #4 – A general purpose finish commonly used in restaurant equipment. 120 – 180 grit finish.
- #8 non-directional – Also called super 8 or #10.This is a highly and progressively finer polished finish that eliminates all grit lines. Mirror- like.

We carry most gauges in standard widths of 36”, 48” and 60”, and have floor stock for the standard lengths of 96” ,120” and 144”. Custom widths and lengths can also be produced in house.
